Led by Puerto Rican percussionist Héctor “Coco” Barez, El Laberinto del Coco blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms with spoken word, jazz, and contemporary sounds. Drawing from the traditions of bomba and plena, the project explores the intersections of heritage, identity, and social commentary through powerful percussion-driven performance.

El Laberinto del Coco has earned acclaim for their dynamic live shows and innovative approach to traditional forms. This Hazelwood performance brings their bold, high-energy sound to Pittsburgh for a one-night-only appearance.
