Hazelwood Local, in partnership with Weather Permitting, kicked off this season’s Summer Sounds with an unforgettable afternoon of music, food, and community. Headlining the event was the internationally acclaimed 15-piece bomba fusion ensemble El Laberinto del Coco, bringing powerful energy and rhythm to the stage. Local Reggae favorites Truth and Rites opened the show, setting the tone with their signature sound.Despite the 90-degree heat, the sun shone brightly on a good crowd enjoying free face painting, kids’ activities, and a vibrant lineup of over a dozen local vendors and food trucks.
